We have arranged a visit to The Berthe Morisot exhibition at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in South London on Wednesday 23rd August 2023.
This visit is inspired by the lecture we had in February by Dr. Lois Oliver who co-curated this exhibition. The tour of the exhibition will provide an in-depth experience for us. Dulwich Picture Gallery is interesting architecturally too. Designed by Sir John Soane it was the first purpose-built art gallery and opened in 1817.

Transport – Coach from Priory Lane, Burford – at 8am. We are booked into the Exhibition at 11 am which means we have to board the coach early (sorry).
Cost without tour: £45.00 members, (£47.00 non-members).
The Gallery has been unable to provide a guided tour for us so we will be able to go around the exhibition at our own pace. There is an audio-visual on the free “Bloomberg Connects” app which you will be able to download before or via the free WiFi at the gallery onto your smartphone and listen to using your headphones. The gallery staff can assist you with this.
NB. The price does not include any food or drink. There is a café which serves brunches, lunch and light refreshments on a “walk in” basis – so I am unable to book for you. There are also cafes and restaurants in Dulwich village a short walk away.
The gallery is set in three acres of gardens which you can also enjoy on the day. We ought to be back by 5.45 pm.
